Support for New Moms

Being a mom isn't something we are born knowing how to do, nor is it something you need to do alone.  We provide support and therapy for new moms just like you! Becoming a new mom can be one of the most exciting times in your life, but it can also be overwhelming and anxiety producing.  

 

Therapy is a place to talk openly about how you are feeling, and to learn new skills and strategies on how to thrive in motherhood.

Support for Moms of Older Kids

Balancing work, kids activities, and home responsibilities can feel like a full time job say the least. The big kid years are fast paced and require a lot of mental energy to keep up! New friends, new experiences and changes can leave a mom feeling like she's failing, but you aren't.  Support for moms shouldn't go away once your child is out of diapers.  We are here to help you navigate every stage of motherhood, and to help you find yourself along the way.

Moms and Mental Health Facts

  • It's common!  Depression and anxiety in new moms isn't rare, in fact, nearly 1 in 8 moms  will experience depression or anxiety after birth. 

​

  • Symptoms can include: 

    • Feeling angry, restless, or irritable

    • Lack of interest in the baby

    • Racing or scary thoughts 

    • Dread that something bad will happen

    • Appetite and sleep disturbance

    • Crying and sadness

    • Feeling guilt, shame or hopelessness

    • Loss of interest in things you once enjoyed

    • Possible thoughts of harming the baby or yourself
