Hi, I'm Ally!

I joined Lakeview in the fall of 2022, bringing over ten years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan who have experienced trauma. I also have more than five years of experience in school-based settings, where I’ve supported children and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, Autism, ADHD/ADD, and challenges with emotional regulation and social skills.

My background in schools has given me a deep understanding of how to collaborate with educators and advocate for children within the academic environment. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between school and home, and I believe in using a whole-child approach that emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and individualized care.

In addition to my clinical work, I have a special passion for supporting athletes. As a former collegiate and travel athlete myself, I understand the physical and emotional demands placed on athletes at every level. I enjoy working with athletes to build confidence, enhance focus, and foster a stronger connection to the sport. Having personally navigated the emotional impact of a career-ending injury, I’m especially committed to helping others process the grief, identity shifts, and pressure that can come with injury and performance challenges.

My therapeutic style is grounded in creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I value honesty, accountability, kindness, and building strong, trusting relationships.

Outside of the office, I love spending time outdoors, cheering on the Cubs, diving into all things Marvel, and enjoying life as a mom—an adventure that brings its own kind of joy and learning every day.
