Position: Licensed Therapist for Maternal Mental Health and Adult Clients
Location: Lake in the Hills, IL
About Us: At Lakeview Counseling, we are a compassionate team dedicated to empowering individuals through life's challenges. We specialize in supporting a variety of clients, and offer both in-person and online services. Our mission is to help clients not only survive but thrive.
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Therapist to provide afternoon and evening counseling sessions for adults. A special interest in postpartum and maternal mental health is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct individual therapy sessions focusing on addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices and research.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current Illinois state license as a Psychologist, LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT. LPC and LSW applicants are encouraged to apply, and will be provided with supervision by our team.
- Proven experience in adult and/or maternal mental health counseling.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
