Hi! I'm Beth, and I'm so glad you are here!
I opened Lakeview in 2015 after the birth of my second child because I am passionate about helping moms feel seen, heard and validated through motherhood. I want moms to know that even if you feel alone - you aren’t. We can work together to help you feel like yourself again while stepping into this life changing role.
I am an LCSW, and have called Illinois home for the past 15 years. I began my work with kids and teens in schools and community settings. However, once I became a mom myself I began to feel so overwhelmed and anxious by my new role! I realized that while we learn all the ways to prepare for a baby, we don’t talk a lot about how to take care of ourselves as moms (new or old pros!). It was then that I decided to begin working with moms to help them take care of themselves, to relieve their anxiety and depression, and feel confident in their motherhood journey. I founded Lakeview in 2015 centered around that mission, and have loved working with my clients ever since!
When I’m not working, I love reading, listening to all the podcasts and hanging out with my two kids and husband. You can usually find us outdoors on a lake, hiking, grilling out, or skiing in the winter.
