I am excited to be back with Lakeview after taking some time away during my fertility journey. I have been counseling now for almost 11 years and am happy to be a part of such a great team again!

In my younger days I spent a lot of time working with both victims and perpetrators (adult and youth) of violent crimes. I've worked in a domestic violence agency as well as in inpatient, residential and outpatient settings. Now that I am older and have spent more time in private practice, I have focused more on working with adults and helping them foster and maintain healthy relationships in their lives. My special area of interest right now is narcissistic abuse and helping people heal from relationships with people who lack emotional maturity. I believe healthy relationships with ourselves and others are a major key to authentic happiness!

My approach tends to be more laid back which has made me an especially great fit for people who are new and a bit apprehensive to counseling. I like to use cognitive behavioral therapy primarily and take a person centered-approach, this means I like to help people identify and challenge negative thinking patterns and identify possible behavior changes that can help them reach their goals for therapy. I enjoy helping people find their self worth again! I also have experience with fertility, life transitions, parenting, blended families, immigrant families, lgbtq+ relationships, and general anxiety. If you need help with one of these areas, I would love to work together!

Outside of work I enjoy time with my family, dogs, and especially my new baby girl! I love music, concerts, watching sports (particularly soccer and Formula 1), video games, comic books, trading card games, and trying new restaurants/ethnic cuisines. My husband and I are always looking for new restaurant recommendations!

So, if you think I would be a good fit just reach out and I hope we can work together!
