Hi, I'm Shannon! 

I started at Lakeview in April of 2022.  I am currently a full time school social worker for the last 23 years.  And although I love being a school social worker my ultimate goal was to do private practice after my own children were grown.  I am loving private practice and the clients I work with.  I specialize in youth and teens.  I began my work with youth in a group home setting due to experiencing trauma in their environment.  I then transitioned to the role of school social worker. 

 

My passion is treating children and adolescents whom are experiencing anxiety, social pressure, depression, attention difficulties, emotional dysregulation and low self confidence.  I pride myself in building strong relationships with my clients and understanding where they are in life and how to help them get where they want to be. 

 

When I’m not working, I love to hang out with my family, enjoy family vacations that involve camping and enjoying the outdoors.  Some say I’m a bit obsessed with Disney and the Chicago Cubs!
