Hi! I'm Victoria!
Welcome to Lakeview! We are so glad you're here. 

In addition to joining Lakeview as a therapist, I also currently work full-time as a school social worker in an early childhood building. I work primarily with kindergarten. Prior to becoming a school social worker, I worked as a social worker in the Department of Corrections, Juvenile Division. I have a lot of experience working with children with different needs such as anxiety, depression, ADHD/ADD and other mental health concerns. I believe behavior is language! Especially in our younger children as they don’t have the words to express how they feel. I am a firm believer in parents being part of the process to reinforce skills at home that are worked on in therapy. I believe in using a variety of tools such as books, games, art, imaginative play, and video modeling to teach children how to express themselves in a safe, supportive environment.

I also have a strong working knowledge of the world of special education; both as a school social worker and a parent of children that have received special education services.  I have four adult sons and enjoy working with adults as well as children.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching movies and spending time with my dog. I look forward to connecting with you!
